Our Story

30 Years of Tracking
India's Capital Investments

NPT Intelligence was built on three decades of hands-on project research — turning what was once a manual intelligence service into a structured digital platform.

Built on three decades of
deep domain knowledge

New Projects Tracker was founded by Jayaprakash Sampath, a CapEx intelligence specialist whose work in project tracking began in 1994. What started as manual research — systematically monitoring government filings, environmental clearances, company announcements and industry publications — evolved over 30 years into one of India's most comprehensive project intelligence databases.

The core question that has driven this work from the beginning: Where are new projects emerging, and what do those investments signal for businesses trying to grow?

In 2017, that expertise was transformed into a structured digital platform — giving subscribers organised, searchable access to project intelligence that had previously required enormous manual effort to gather.

Today, NPT Intelligence — a product of Kariyamangalam Technologies Pvt Ltd, Chennai — is the next evolution of that platform — combining the depth of 30 years of research with modern technology to deliver structured, actionable project intelligence to businesses across India.

From Manual Research
to Intelligent Platform

1994

Research Begins

Started as a trainee researcher tracking upcoming industrial projects, investment announcements and capital expenditure plans across multiple sectors — entirely through manual monitoring of industry sources.

1999

Independent Research Service

Began working independently, developing specialised expertise in identifying early signals of new industrial investments. Built a structured methodology for tracking projects before they became public knowledge.

2010

Digital Distribution

Project intelligence began reaching clients through email-based reports and digital documents — expanding reach while maintaining the rigour of manual research verification.

2017

New Projects Tracker Platform Launched

A database-driven platform was developed to organise project intelligence into a searchable online dashboard — giving subscribers structured, self-service access for the first time.

2026

NPT Intelligence — Next Generation

A complete rebuild of the platform with modern architecture, AI enrichment capabilities, company intelligence, watchlist alerts, and a structured data model designed for the next decade of growth.

Intelligence that drives decisions

🎯

Early Signal Over Volume

We don't compete on data volume. We compete on timing. Our focus is identifying projects at the earliest possible stage — when the intelligence is most valuable to business development teams.

🔍

Research-First Approach

Every project in our database has been identified, verified and structured by a research team. We don't scrape — we research. Quality over quantity is a non-negotiable principle.

Speed of Discovery

The gap between when a project is announced and when your sales team hears about it determines your competitive advantage. We exist to close that gap.

🏗️

Built for Project-Driven Industries

We serve EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, industrial suppliers, consultants and advisors whose business depends on knowing where new investments are being planned.

📊

Structured for Action

Raw project news is not intelligence. We structure every project with consistent fields — sector, location, investment size, stage, promoter — so subscribers can filter, prioritise and act.

🤝

Founder-Led, Subscriber-Driven

NPT Intelligence remains a lean, founder-led business. This means faster decisions, direct accountability, and a platform that evolves based on what subscribers actually need.
